About Us

The Accra Art Week is the flagship event of the art advisory company Indelibl Arts. Led by its founder Edwin Otta, the executive board is made up of a dynamic array of professionals from across multiple industries. The advisory board that provides guidance to the executive board is comprised of artists, educators, and business executives who all share an equal desire to see the Accra art scene thrive.
Conceptualised in 2018 and launched in 2019 at the Kempinski Galleria Mall, Accra; the Accra Art Week platform connects and promotes art institutions and artists in Accra to strengthen the city’s ecosystem thereby providing a cohesive tool for engaging with local, regional and international audiences.
During each year AAW curates a week-long city-wide immersive event series, featuring exhibitions+pop-ups, talks, performances, screenings, workshops and tours (of select galleries, studios, and cultural spaces). Its existence is testament to Accra’s position as a leading art destination in Africa.
