Tychicus Kunat, also known as Tychicus Keret or Tiki Kunat, is a Nigerian artist whose work centers on social commentary, music, and design. He is best known for his Voices of an Unequal Nation project, a conceptual exploration inspired by the bold graphic style of Sir Lemi Ghariokwu and the vibrant energy of Lagos. Kunat’s art is politically charged, reviving the tradition of vinyl sleeve art to address inequality and corruption in Nigeria, drawing influence from Fela Kuti’s socially conscious collaborations. He works across diverse mediums, merging handcrafted design with motion graphics while also creating ballpoint pen and ink drawings for portraits. A graduate with a Master’s degree in Graphic Design & Branding in 2025, Kunat has exhibited works such as Love and Flower at galleries including the Rooftop Artists Village Gallery in New York for NFT NYC 2024, establishing his presence in both traditional and contemporary art spaces.

His work explores how design can address contemporary societal issues, including sustainability, inequality, representation, and community awareness. By blending strategy, storytelling, and creativity, he crafts design solutions that not only look good but also make people think, feel, and act.
