Compound House is an artist-run gallery dedicated to supporting and promoting the contemporary art practices and projects of Ghanaian artists Located in Accra, Ghana. Foregrounding experimentation and stimulating our artists’ political sensitivity, the gallery positions itself as a space to test new strategies and engage off-grid interventions.
The Gallery boasts of a rigorous curatorial program led by Tracy Naa Koshie Thompson, an artist/ curator who has an independent practice into post-producing food and non-human agency in artistic production; which is profoundly influenced by the emancipatory teachings of the pedagogue and polymath, karî’kạchä seid’ou.
Founded by Nuna Adisenu-Doe, an artist and an art market researcher, he holds a BFA in Painting from KNUST, Kumasi, Ghana and an MA in Art Market Appraisal (Professional Practice) from Kingston University, London, UK.
