Kwame Nkrumah Memorial  Park& Mausoleum

The Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park & Mausoleum, located in the heart of Accra, is a national monument dedicated to Ghana’s first President and leading Pan-Africanist, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. Originally inaugurated in 1992 on the historic site where Nkrumah declared Ghana’s independence, the park serves as both a memorial and cultural landmark, featuring a striking marble mausoleum that houses his remains alongside those of his wife, Fathia Nkrumah.
