Worldfaze Art Practice is a dynamic artist residency and exhibition space founded in 2020 by acclaimed Ghanaian artist Kwesi Botchway. Created to nurture young and emerging artists, the space plays a vital role in the growth of Accra’s contemporary art ecosystem, offering a platform for creative exchange, experimentation, and professional development. Officially launching its new studio and residency in Ogbojo, Accra, in August 2023, Worldfaze has quickly become a vibrant hub for artists, curators, collectors, and art enthusiasts.
Through exhibitions, workshops, and community projects — including initiatives with the Demonstration School for the Deaf and collaborations with organizations like OtherNetwork and ifa (Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen) — Worldfaze champions accessibility, collaboration, and artistic generosity. Its roster of resident artists, such as Daniel Tetteh Nartey, Jephthah Aikins Bentsil-Kobiah, Kingsley Sedem Dzade, and Nana Adwoa Fremah Amoabeng, reflects the diversity and innovation driving Ghana’s new creative generation. In just a few years, Worldfaze has established itself as a cornerstone of Accra’s thriving art scene — a space where community, creativity, and continuity converge.
